THe problem with weight regain AND YO-YO Dieting
Most people around the world spend their life on a yo-yo cycle, jumping from diet to diet, placing crazy restrictions, losing a bunch of weight and gaining it back.
The problem with this approach is that every time you put yourself in a crash diet, your metabolism slows down - it's called metabolic adaptation - and when this happens fat burning, and weight loss become hard and harder.
Why this happens?
Let's go back in time to when we were nomads, and didn't have readily available food everywhere, weight loss and fat loss represented danger (back then starving to death was a real possibility), so our bodies developed defense systems against weight loss.
So when you diet, it triggers alarms, and a bunch of processes happen in your body to prevent weight loss, and the more times you crash diet, the worse it gets.
What you need instead? A sustainable approach that allows you to lose weight and keep it off forever. We accomplish this by using different phases in the program - you'll go through fat loss, maintenance, and muscle gain phases. Each phase will have specific goals tailored to you and you'll learn how to live a balanced life where you can easily sustain your gains and new bodyweigth.

You'll get a customized training and nutrition program created for YOUR specific needs, and designed to help you hit your goals. We'll work with the equipment, or lack of it, to build your plans.
You'll also get a private 1:1 chat with your coach, this will allow you to ask questions every single day. You'll weekly live calls with different coaches to help you stay on track.

Josh Thomson acquired his master’s degree in Kinesiology at the University of Central Missouri with a minor in Sports Nutrition; and is the Head Exercise Specialist at the Jacked Vegans Academy. His extensive study and recurring knowledge of training and nutrition has set him up to be one of the leading Exercise Scientists in the field today.
